We're looking to end our trip at a hotel and spa before flying home. We'll be leaving the Glencoe area and would like to get closer to either the Glasgow or Edinburgh areas (maybe an hour drive from either max) so our drive from there to EDI isn't that far the day we leave. I'm seeing lots of great properties, but it seems the spas are lacking...lots of broken equipment from steam rooms to hydro pools or even overcrowding situations...5-star properties where guests don't feel like the spa is up to par. Anyone stay at spa and hotel where you thought the spa was phenomenal?

I stayed in this hotel, this past Autumn for four days . While I didn't use the spa , per say , I did use the gym and fitness facilities. Like the rest of the hotel this was really first rate , a beautifully kept and managed property , it's about a ninety minute drive to Edinburgh - https://www.athollpalace.com/
