Fellow runners. I will be in Edinburgh this weekend and wanted to know if jogging solo in Princes Street Gardens is safe for a woman.

Between 1000 and probably 1800 it is super busy with people, especially along the main paths

I walked through there in the early evening (solo and female) and never had any problems. There are always people around.

I was usually the first one in the gardens as the guy was going around to open all the gates. When I was there earlier this month, the gates opened around 5:30 am even though the signs indicated they opened later. I felt completely safe walking around by myself. Probably because everyone else was sleeping. 😊
