Blair Atholl would be a good place, esp if the castle is open. Or Pitlochry.

When is your trip? Pit stop and meal? Or a tourist site to spend time at? If the former, Pitlochry is pretty and a bit over mid way. If the latter, Blair Castle, if you are travelling during their open period.
ETA - oops, looks like I was writing as MC Glasgow was posting. And there's only one T in Scotland
