I’m hiking the WHW from May 2-9, which is right when the motorcycle trials are going on, I’m wondering if that ends up shutting down some of the trails you would normally hike? It looks like a fun event and might enhance the experience, but I’m hoping I get to walk the traditional route from Milngavie to Fort William. Just wondering if anyone on here has some experience or knowledge with this. Thanks!

Checking this website of events for the Wet Highland Way, it says this..
2-3 May 2025 – Scottish Pre ’65 Motorcycle Trial, Motorcycle Trials, Kinlochleven/Fort William. Short stretches of the WHW may be used & the area will be busier than usual.
5-10 May 2025 – Scottish Six Days Trial, Motorcycle Trials, Kinlochleven/Fort William. Stretches of the WHW will be used & the area will be busier than usual.
