Scottish food and craft stores in Edinburgh.

All the recommended Scottish food sores in Edinburgh have closed. Does someone have another recommendation?

Can you elaborate?
Which shops in particular do you mean...do you have a list?
What foods are you looking for exactly?
I doubt if Edinburgh has closed all its food stores.

I think perhaps Ibrenner1 may be referring to the Rick Steves' recommended food stores/craft stores in Edinburgh in his last Scotland tour guide (book). Perhaps the pandemic did cause some of these smaller shops to close. Try googling: specialty food stores on the royal mile Edinburgh Scotland (same for craft stores) - lots of suggestions come up in the search. Stores like Sainsburys and Marks and Spencers have extensive selections of delicious Scottish (British) foods.
Happy travels!

I must admit I'm a bit confused by this statement too....

There is a list of recommended food shops here.

There is a list of food (and craft) markets here. Stockbridge and Grassmarket seem to concentrate on food. Leith advertises both food and crafts and gets good reviews on Trip Advisor.

Don't rely on guide book recommendations as many of them are out of date and shops will have closed or changed. Google is your best bet for ideas.
