Scotland tour/guide for seniors with limited mobility

Hi, everyone. My senior parents are planning their dream trip to Scotland, Ireland, & England. However, my stepdad has limited mobility (cane or scooter) and tires easily. I am looking for a small group tour company or personal guide that can take them to the sights without exhausting him. TY

How many days will they have?

There may be some Road Scholar tours that might work although the scooter is not probably going to. Go to their website and search then look at the activity level of each program. Their activity ranking is pretty close to what they would experience.

I’ll add that covering Scotland, Ireland and England in one trip is likely to be pretty tiring. They may need to decrease their scope and limit to just Ireland or England/Scotland (transit between the two is easier). Do they have specifics on what they want to see?

Hello morriscsps
We have visited Scotland twice, toured both times with Inverness Day Tours (IDT). We are seniors and tour at a slower pace, I use a cane and while DH does not he does tire easily. Our tour days were filled with amazing sites to visit, to a level we are able to enjoy without being completely exhausted by the end of the day. I think they do require guests to be able to step up into the van which was not an issue for us.

Inverness Day Tours are based out of Inverness but will collect you from where ever. Private touring is expensive but worth every penny to us. We are planning a 3rd visit to Scotland and will again tour with ITD. Owners Laura & Ian are a joy to work with and we highly recommend them.
