We are travelling to Uk on 11 sept with our 4 year old boy and would need your expertise advise to plan our trip. We want to explore most scenic places and we are not much into museums n historic sites
We will be renting car for 2 days in Edinburg.
We will be staying at Coylumbridge hotel aviemore and Highland gate , stirring on our way back to Edinburgh.
13 -sept - 10 am pick up rental car from Edinburg and start our road trip .
Please suggest the driving route . Should we take snow route or stick To A9.
Plz suggest stop overs from Edinburgh to Aviemore before we check in the hotel in the evening. We want to explore cairngorm national park but do not prefer to hike with 4 year old .
14 sept - check out of coylumbridge aviemore hotel around 8 am
Please help me plan the day trip before we stop in the evening at stirling.
—> Should we drive to Inverness city center to explore River ness / fort George and other Inverness attractions or should we skip Inverness and drive from aviemore via white bridge to fort Augustus to fort William to Glencoe and check into our hotel in stirling .
15 sept - Early morning leave stirling and drive to Edinburg to drop off the car.
Please suggest stopovers between stirling and Edinburg
