Scotland, London and The Bayeux Tapestry Spring 2027

My husband and I would like to travel to London to see the Bayeux Tapestry at the British Museum, and spend a few days in London. We want to do a tour of Scotland on the same trip. We could travel May-June 2027. Is it possible to coordinate two Rick Steves tours, Scotland for a week, London for a week, with time for the Bayeux exhibit and a few extra days in London?

This would be our second RS tour. We did South if England in 14 Days in May 2025.

OP did you change your dates in your first post? Because I dont see a problem if you are travelling in May or June with the Tapestry leaving in July.

A cursory look shows the Best of London tours run Sunday to Saturday, while the 8 day Heart of Scotland tour runs Sunday to Sunday. To do both, without taking a week off in between, you would need to do the London tour first, then take the train or fly to Scotland after breakfast on the Saturday. But you will need to keep a really close eye on the ticket release dates for the Tapestry. Google says the last batch (April-July),should open in January.

CJean, she must have changed the dates in her original post, because when I saw it, she said that she was traveling in September/October of 2027.
