Looking at taking a Scotland - Ireland back to back tour. Do any know of hot air balloons rides being available on any stops on these tours? No -not a deal breaker if not, just something I did on a previous trip and enjoyed. Any other comments / suggestions appreciated. Among other things curious if any believe that extending my trip either at the beginning, or the end is advisable. If so where -- Dublin, Belfast, or Edinburgh? Thank you.

Ha! I just responded to you on the Ireland site. There is a hot air balloon trip in Trim, outside of Dublin. It uses the common by Trim Castle. I haven't been on it. I only know about it because it was landing when we were walking across the common. Trim is in the Boyne Valley and sits on the banks of the Boyne River. I imagine that it would be absolutely beautiful.
