Scotland hotels

Hi,
I’m going on the June 18th trip to Scotland with Rick Steves tours. His comments are that most of the hotels are smaller and quaint. Does anyone know if many of these smaller hotels have hair dryers in the rooms? I bought the carry-on backpack, so I’d love to leave the hair dryer at home, rather than carry it on my back!

Thanks

Never seen a hotel room without one. Don't go looking for it in the bathroom. In the UK they don't plug hair dryers in the bathroom. You will find the hair dryer, and its plugin, out in the main hotel room.

If you don’t see it, check all the drawers and cupboards.
You can also ask the front desk for one if you don’t find one in your room.

No, the hotels he likes are smaller and quaint. There are all types of hotels in Scotland.

Even the smallest B&B will be able to provide you with a hair dryer - but there will usually be one in the room.

Thank you Skyegirl, I wore my carry-on backpack around the house and it seems very doable, so not having the weight of the hair dryer will great!
