The link above will give you the basics, but this actually goes into a bit more detail with regards to what is covered under your tour. I would suggest you read it through closely. Generally, fees for sightseeing activities that you visit on the tour are included. Sightseeing activities on your own are not.

If you are signed up for a tour, go into your tour account. Under View and Manage Your Tour you are given a whole bunch of information including your itinerary. What you do as a group is included. There have been tours such as on the Best of Ireland where the tour guide knew of a special concert that was happening and offered to make arrangements for those that wanted to attend, we then paid him for those tickets. Many people will plan for things not included on the tour and done during your free time. You pay for those yourself.
