Has anyone done the train ride from Inverness to Kyle of Lochlash and back to Inverness?

Oh yeah! My sister and I did this trip back in the late 70's on my first trip to Scotland. It's a wonder trip. I remember bouncing from one side of the car to another as I snapped pictures and oohed and ahed. Since then I've driven it many times. It's still gorgeous. I highly recommend it. One thing that a friend of mine did was to stop in Plockton and explored that small town. Others go to Kyle of Lochalsh and do a quick trip to Skye--it's a big island, so personally, I'm not sold on this--or taken a taxi to Eilean Dolan and back.
