While in Edinburgh, we are considering buying the two day Royal Edinburgh Ticket on the Hop On/Hop Off Bus. Does this ticket need to be used in two consecutive days or can it be used in any two days?

Their website says valid for 48 hours, which I would take to mean 2 consecutive days.
