After staying in Edinburgh for 5 days I will be renting a car to drive north (heading to Stirling first). Is it best to rent at the airport or at another location in Edinburgh? I can compare prices - I really want to know which is best for easy driving out of the city. thank you sue

Rent from Arnold Clark by booking via Celtic Legend . Take the airport bound tram to the Edinburgh Park stop ( Sighthill ) the pickup is a short walk from there . Easy drive from there to Stirling .

Rent at the airport. It’s between Edinburgh and Stirling and you won’t have to drive in the city.
When we did the drive a few years ago we stopped to see the Forth Bridge, Falkirk Wheel, and the Kelpies sculptures en route to Stirling. Stirling is only 30 miles from the airport.
