We're going to spend a week in the Highlands in late July. The focus of the trip is to see the National Parks (Cairngorms and Trossachs). We'll be staying about mid-point between the two. I hope that the weather will cooperate and we'll be doing mostly outdoor stuff, (hiking, boating, touring, etc.) I'm looking for logistical help re: restaurants and indoor activities (Museums, Castles, Shopping, etc) if the weather turns bad. We'll have a car and our lodging has kitchen and laundry. Thanks in advance for your help.
