Randox - Edinburgh Clinic City Center

I'll fly from Edinburgh to U.S. and must test for Covid per the CDC.
Has anyone recently flown from Edinburgh to the U.S. and tested at the Randox Edinburgh Clinic at 10 Frederick Street in Edinburgh?
If so, would you share your experience to include the type of test you chose and your experience with the test site?
I understand one must make an appointment and I guess I'm most interested in the type of test you chose and specifically, if anyone chose the test called, "Pre-departure antigen". CDC Guidelines indicate "you must be tested with a viral test to look for current infection - these include an antigen test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT)" - just need to determine if the pre-departure antigen is CDC approved.
Kind regards.

I tested with Randox in London and chose that "pre-departure antigen" test and had no difficulties with it being accepted. They do these travel tests all the time and they will not steer you wrong.

In London, I entered the testing facility where I confirmed my identity, answered a few screening questions and was sent to a "testing station." An assistant opened the flowflex test box, swabbed my nose, and I was good to go in about 10 minutes. I received my results via email about 25 minutes later.

I showed these email results to the agent at the check in counter when I checked in for my flight.

Thank you!
The facility provides the "flowflex test box", correct?
You did not provide that, right?
I really appreciate the info...

We have our appointment in Edinburgh in July when we return home. Besides carol’s recommendation, our hotel did too.

It was the fly home test like Carol’s, i think.

We leave in 2.5 weeks.

We just returned using the Randox at the airport. I’m guessing the centers operate the same. We booked the lateral flow test/get the results in 60 minutes, under the Covid 19 travel banner. We booked a couple days in advance but the center was not crowded. You give them your email and they send you a pdf with your results. We got it in less than an hour. It’s basically a rapid test. You show the pdf when you check in.

In talking to other travelers, many also did the video monitor tests which is likely cheaper. Good luck!

I took the pre-departure antigen test at 10 Frederick Street in Edinburgh on May 30. I made the appointment online and paid via credit card the day before (there were many slots available) and the cost was 35 pounds, I arrived about 15 minutes early and got tested immediately, and got the result via email about 30 minutes later. The whole process worked very smoothly.
