Just a quick note that the upper level at Glasgow Queen Street is closed due to repairs on its access tunnel unit August. This will affect ScotRail services to Edinburgh, the West Highlands, Stirling and all points north.
Please check current timetables at ScotRail and be prepared for inevitable delays.

I am bit early, it closes on 20th March until 8th August.
Services as per unclegus' comment will be diverted to Queen Street Lower Level or Glasgow Central. Please check during the affected period.
well I get my bus pass next month so all my future trips to Glasgow will be by bus as it will be FREE!!!!!
Even if you're paying, buses are way cheaper than the train. Book the bus tickets online and you'll pay just a fraction of train fares.
