Rabbies Tour from Edinburgh: 4 Day Isle of Skye & Western Highlands

I am comparing tours with Rabbies. 4 Day Isle of Skye/West Highlands with the 3 Day Isle of Skye out of Glasgow and wonder if anyone here has taken the 4 day tour out of Edinburgh. Did the tour guide let you linger in the places they stopped to explore or was the tour mostly just sitting in the van? Many here on the forum sing the praises of Rabbies tours but I would like to get some first hand thoughts from those of you who have taken this tour. Link attached

From their FAQs
How much time do I get off the bus?
We want you to enjoy Britain and Ireland. And we believe the best way to do this is to get you off the mini-coach and out exploring. So, we give you plenty of time to take photos, go walking, and explore ancient ruins.

I've only done I, but I recall having adequate time to explore at stops.

We did a day tour from Glasgow and it was not just sitting in the van all day. I think we had 4 stops where we got off the bus and had time to walk around.

i have taken multiple Rabbies tours but only one day ones. On each we had plenty of time off the van.

If you mean hours to linger......no......but I never felt rushed. In fact, the one I took to Skye was amazing because the weather was sunny with hardly a cloud in the sky. So, the guide gave us extra time at certain viewpoints.

We took this tour (or maybe a 5 day version?) a few years ago and thought it well done. As things go it's a lot of kilometers but stops were sufficiently frequent. The minibus was comfortable enough for the time spent in it. And, the driver/guide provided much useful, interesting and entertaining info enroute. Also music and even time just to look at the scenery go by.

Thank you Greg for your insight about the tour. I have booked it and asked that they reserve the accommodations. Hopefully, they will be comfortable.
