Pub with live music in Inverness

My daughter and I are leaving for Edinburgh and Inverness next week. She wants to have a birthday drink in a pub one night and we both would like to listen to live music. We'll probably do this in Inverness. Any suggestions about where to go?

I enjoyed my time one evening at Gellions in Inverness after a trip out to Culloden moor in September 2022. On the night, a single guitarist belted out some traditional songs lively enough for dancing. The crowd was lively but not rowdy (early evening).

Another Hoots returning customer.
Callum Macphail I think is still doing Monday nights, seen him 4 times
Think its the local trad session on Wednesday
On Sat,live music 4pm till 1am

Think its the Highlander bar directly oposite ,also good
And Gellions and the late night place Johnny Foxes have plenty of music too

MacGregor's has an afternoon session on Sunday afternoon (4pm-ish?). When we were there there were about 20 musicians and the star of the session was an 11 year old lass fiddler. We were originally planning on Hoots or Gellions but they were either doing rock'n roll or closed (I don't remember which).

Thanks! Getting nervous now that it's getting closer to leaving time.

Another vote for MacGregor's. We were there for supper sometime in first week of April on a cold wet weeknight and bagpipes were playing. There was a wood fire going in the next room and the whole pub had the smell of woodsmoke. It was a great experience.
