We are trying to find a good, private tour, for four to eight people, next September. Preferably about two weeks, that includes whisky, golf and history. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Rabbies offers numerous tours throughout Scotland from different departure cities. They utilize 16 passenger vans.
They can also put together a private tour for your group.
I've traveled with them numerous times and never had a bad tour.

We have toured several times with Inverness Tours who will create an amazing adventure especially for your interests. Their guides are outstanding and vehicles are very comfortable. Laura & Ian, company owners, are somehow able to magic the perfect combination of guide to guest such that touring is like visiting with an old friend. They are lovely people to work with. Although they are based in Inverness they collect guests from most anywhere.
Private touring is not inexpensive but with several people to share the cost it's worth every penny and then some.

We also had an excellent experience with Inverness Custom Tours. 5 of us were traveling - my husband and I, our two adult children and one of their partners. We provided several things we wanted to do, and Inverness made recommendations based on schedule, proximity, etc. Amanda was our guide and we all absolutely loved her. She allowed us to set our own schedule, kept us on time and on track, knew the best routes, where to park and find bathrooms and food. She added stops we didn't think of ourselves, including the Kelpie's, a church on the way to Oban, hairy koo's. It made our trip perfect and magical - we didn't have to drive, find gas or parking. Stress-free. And Amanda was charming and answered all our questions about Scotland. Highly recommend!

Look at Scotland Wild, small 8 person max tours. I don't think they do a 2 week but they may have a couple of tours you can book that may hit all you want to do. The 5 day tour we booked checks off History, Whiskey, nature, castles, the highlands. Can't wait!
