Private Driver/Tour Guide

Alas, I don't have a recommendation but I'm answering to "up" your post. You might try contacting the nice gentlemen who run the Secret Scotland site, since they offer a service that plans customized driving itineraries. There may be others who have asked them about hiring a private driver so it's possible they'd have some names. https://www.secret-scotland.com/

See the post on Day Trip Tour Group a couple down from this one posted by Mark K. Laura recommends someone. I suspect that he does more than whisky tours. :)

We had some B&B guests who arrived with a private driver (he was staying in another B&B near by so just dropped them off for the evening). I can't recall his name, but our guests were delighted with the tour he had put together for them and said his knowledge of history was fantastic. I do recall that he was a member of the Scottish Tourist Guides Association. Their website is below.
