Thinking about hiring a private driver for a tour of Trotternish Peninsula out of Portree, with stops at the usual places & maybe others not so well known. (Maybe further afield if time permits.) Any recommendations?

Try Skye Jeep Tours. They will pick you up from either Portree or Broadford (or points in between) and tailor a day to your needs. Full disclosure - I know them well (most people on Skye know Lynne and Sam!) but check out their reviews for an unbiased view.
