Pitlochry for 2 days

Hello! I will be in Pitlochry in late September for 2 days. I am planning on going to the Enchanted Forest and Queen's View. Are there any other sights/ruins in the nearby area? Interested in hiking. I will also have a car so transportation will be accessible.

Thanks all!
Natalie

2 distilleries, Blair Atholl in Pitlochry itself and Edradour a couple of miles away and easily walkable from the town, You also have the dam there with a unique fish ladder that is worth exploring, you can actually walk right over the dam and down the side of the fish ladder.Loads of oppertunities for walking in the area.
There is a good hotel/pub just outside the town called the Moulin Inn some parts of it date back to the 17th century, has their own micro-brewery there and the beer is pretty good , food there is excellent.
There is also the heather gem factory in the town you can visit and it makes some pretty interesting stuff , very affordably souvineers can be got there.

It is a lovely little town with quite a few shops for the tourist,it has also won Scotland in Bloom awards, some half decent resturants and good bars.

Unclegus, you missed out the Explorer's Garden, which even when it was only a few years old was quite good. Now that the plants have been growing another 7-8 years it has to be even better. It's over by the Festival Theatre. You should look to see if anything interesting is happening at the Theatre. I heard Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham play when I stayed there. I also toured the distillery and went for a walk along the Tay.
