My adult son and I are headed to the UK in 2 weeks, and will be driving from York, to Hadrian's wall, and then up into the Scottish Highlands for most of the trip. This past June, my husband and I were in Italy, and ran into problems paying for gas at unmanned gas stations - a problem that we also had back in 2024. How hard will it be to fill up the car with a US credit card in Scotland? Will I be able to use unmanned kiosks, or am I stuck ensuring that I get gas during business hours at manned gas stations?
Thanks.
