Oh to be in Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival this year!

This past year one of the ways I have gotten through it all is by listening to Elsa MacTaggart fiddle her way through morning tunes from all around Lewis and Thursday and Saturday concerts from the End Room. She has just posted that the Fringe is on next month and she had two sessions!

Here’s the first from her album completed in lockdown, When the World Stood Still. Here is the second, Eve Cassidy and me. Some lucky folks will get to hear her in person.

Thanks for posting Pam, I am going to have a listen. Oh to be at the Fringe, or anywhere in Scotland or Europe for that matter!

Scotland is really on my mind. Thanks for sharing these, Pamela.

I am in Scotland at present - North Berwick about 20 miles from Edinburgh. I am sat here in woolly socks and a fleece as it’s cold and has been raining for 4 hours nonstop.

Avoiding Edinburgh as Covid cases are rising alarmingly there.

Sorry to hear that Jennifer. Living In NYC I understand about avoiding places even when vaccinated. :(

And since I can’t get to Scotland this year, I will be listening to Elsa at a Facebook concert on July 29. Only £6 and she does an amazing job of making you feel you are in the same room. Search Elsa McTaggart Music on FB.

She does make you feel you are right there on the Isle of Lewis. I love the concerts and am happy to pay £7. I am pretty sure I will try to plan a trip to Scotland around her gig schedule next year.
