Hi, k8leeb19,

Walking the length of Byres Road from Great Western Road to Dumbarton Road is a fun experience. Have a meal or an ice cream (with raspberry) at the long established University Cafe, and check out some of the wonderful charity shops along the way.

You can also check out the beautiful buildings of the University of Glasgow, and if you have any energy left, Kelvingrove Museum and Kelvingrove Park are just beyond the uni.

If you're over in the eastern central part of the city, Glasgow Cathedral, the Necropolis, Glasgow Green, and the People's Palace shouldn't be missed. Also Provand's Lordship and the St. Mungo Museum of Religious Life.

The Tenement House museum in Garnethill is another good place to visit, if you're interested in how people lived in Glasgow in the early 20th. century. If you do go there, a visit to the People's Palace would be a good place to visit afterward.

Hope that helps a bit. Glasgow is a great city, and definitely worth exploring in depth.

How about exploring some of the West End and Glasgow University on a food tour? We just did that and it was fabulous! https://glasgowfoodndrinktour.co.uk Gillian is the guide and she has lots of information, energy, and love of Glasgow. The good and drink tastings were amazing -- traditional with a twist. Check it out!
