Nairn restaurant choice - Classroom or Bandstand?

We'll be in Nairn in a week and we have a time crunch for getting into town, checking in at Invernaine GH, eating dinner at one of these two places, and getting back for a 7pm house concert, which is a recent development. I figure walking is as good as driving given parking and not being able to have a beer or two. If we're behind schedule, I'll just have to forego the beer and check in after dinner. We'll be coming from Rosehearty, so there are things to see that I don't want to skip or shorten the explore time.

It's an extra 5 min walk to the Classroom, but it looks a little less formal, which might make eating in just 60 minutes possible. The Bandstand (Restaurant) looks a little more formal.

I know there are other good choices, but these are the ones closest to the GH and we between our group, we have bookings for both. Want to cancel one as soon as possible, to be polite.

We had a pleasant experience at Bandstand in September 2022. It was next to our B&B and across the road from the park and beach. It was by no means formal. After dining we walked along the beach. On TripAdvisor I gave it a very good.

We loved our delicious meals at the Bandstand! There were 4 of us, and we loved our Cullen skink starter, our main meals, and our delicious sticky toffee pudding! I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the replies. We'll go with the Bandstand. The rest of my group thought both menus were great, but the Bandstand is a shorter walk.
