The Mull Rally will be held on the Island from 13 to 15 October, so both the island and the ferries will be very busy from 12 to 16 October.
A second boat will be running on the Lochaline to Fishnish route to supplement capacity on the Oban to Craignure route, and a special queuing facility set up for the unbookable Lochaline route.
A rally on Mull?? Holy Crap, that would be something to see, not much room for error on those roads. At least everyone is going in the same direction.

As this seems even to have taken a Scotsman by surprise, a bit more detail- I was originally just reporting a ferry notification I had received.
This turns out to be the only closed road motor rally in the UK, and this year is the 50th year it has been run.
