Most scenic views between Fort William and Glasgow: Bus through Glencoe, or train?

I am taking the train up from Glasgow to Fort William to spend some time up north doing the Jacobite steam train. On my return trip the following day, should I take the Citylink bus from Fort William back to Glasgow for the chance to see some different scenery? I was thinking of going from FW to Glencoe, hop out for an hour or two to walk around and get a bite at the Clachaig Inn, then catch another Citylink bus back to Glasgow.

The train is actually slightly cheaper and looks more comfortable / potentially better for taking photos. But the bus is faster and offers me the chance to see Glencoe -- which sounds amazing, but I won't have time to actually hike or drive around. Should I do the bus anyway?

The Glasgow/Ft William line is considered one of the most scenic rail journeys in Europe.

The opportunity to go to Glen Coe if that is your choice, is yours. If you do both you won't regret it.
