Military tatoo Edin. this weekend.

I have a ticket but just curious if anyone has any insider tips for visiting the program...possibly some things to look for pre or post show.. For ex, impromptu gatherings, march-ins outside the venue, or when the musicians leave,

Unforutnaly, none of the fly-overs happen during my visit.

Thanks for your time.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/EfZ51zqmZFEQwW8M6?g_st=ic, , when the actual show finishes all the participants march down to Johnstone Terrace where their transport parks, they usually play their instruments and dancer ears will dance their way down . if you stand near where I have marked then you will see/ hear them. Of course whilst at the show you will still be in the stands as they leave but might be interesting to go the night before or after. If you walk down to the main part of the Royal mile ( high street part) you might see a lot of street performers who are involved in the Edinburgh Fringe, can be fun but also be very busy

Clayton,
I attended the spectacular Tattoo a week ago and have this to say: GO! it’s unlike any other event. You will have wonderful memories. We bought our tickets months ago but a friend on our tour bought a ticket last minute. I don’t know how much. But 70£ is worth it. I hope you go and come back to tell us how much you enjoyed it.

Thanks Alan,
Yes, thinking of the other evenings to take in the merriment.
