For you "Outlander" fans: I recommend reading the book "Clanlands" by the actors from the series, Sam Heughan and Graeme McTavish.
It's the book version of their TV series "Men in Kilts".
It is full of Scottish history, and is also laugh out loud hilarious.
Made me homesick for Scotland!

If you can listen to the audiobook - do that. It's read by Sam and Graham and they're so funny - just the inflections of their voices...the banter...it's great.

The audiobook is quite good. The bickering is at a level you can tell they are good friends, you cannot fake that. It is probably the only bit of Outlander I own as I found it 'meh'
