Does anyone have any input on any of the Marriott Hotels in Edinburgh? Courtyard Marriott, The Glasshouse, Edinburgh Grand or Old Town Chambers. Pros/Cons would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I haven't stayed in any of those; I'm a budget traveler. However, you might find reviews for them on booking.com. I find those reviews quite helpful, because you can't leave a review there unless you've actually stayed at the property. Even comparing the ratings can be useful; if you dig down a bit, you'll see separate ratings for location, facilities, Wi-Fi, etc.
Haven’t been there yet, but I booked Courtyard because it looks close to tram stop (and probably because of relative “cost”; I’m using points.) It’s not on Royal Mile but seems decently located, especially if you’re planning to use tram and bus to get (partly) around. It’s pretty close to Carlton Hill and the HOHO bus start point. I plan on taking tram from airport. Although I’m not specifically planning to eat at hotel, I think they have restaurant, which may come in handy if I’m wiped out from sightseeing. Enjoy your trip!
We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh and really liked it. The rooms are good size with nice amenities. The beds were super comfortable. Glass-enclosed bathrooms are odd, but at least good size. We have Marriott status, so breakfast and afternoon snacks were included. The breakfast had a good variety and was plentiful. We enjoyed the bar too. The food there was delicious.
Thanks for all the feedback! We actually ended up booking Sheraton Grand, so I was happy to read the good review.
