luggage storage in st andrews

Check out Stasher. which uses the Premier Inn in St Andrews.

Thanks very much wasleys. Its a wee bit out of the way, but if its the only thing available, it will work. However, do you (or anyone else here) know if the St Andrews bus station has "left luggage" lockers available. Their website indicates that they do, but that may be old information --, some person on Trip Advisor posted that these lockers had been removed. That was posted about a year ago. Can anyone verify - one way or another?? Thanks all.

I was at St Andrew's Bus Station a few months ago. While I wasn't looking for lockers I am pretty sure that I would have seen them if they existed. It is not a huge building.
At least the toilets at the Bus Station are now free- they used to be chargeable.

If you are arriving on the X58 bus from Edinburgh it stops right outside the PI. And the town bus and the East Neuk #95 bus also stop there (on their way to the Hospital further up the road) so there are 3 Stagecoach buses an hour to the PI from the Bus Station.

If you've come on the X58 you will be travelling on an East Scotland Day Rider ticket so the rides to the PI at the end of the day will be free.

Thank you. very good information. we will actually be coming from Leuchars train station on Stagecoach #99. Any idea if that route includes a stop near PI?

No it doesn't. The 99 comes into town along the Links and ends at the Bus Station.

From there the PI is a gentle uphill walk- about 10 minutes at my pace, even with luggage. But let's say 15 as you are probably less familiar with the town.

(In a different direction) it is closer to the Bus Station than the Cathedral is.

BTW Stasher has the Premier Inn in the wrong place on their map!! Google maps and the hotel website are correct
