I wish there was a search engine for this topic so please forgive if this has been answered before. What is the best train station to depart from London to Glasgow Central? Is there a direct connection via the tube to train station from Heathrow or is it better to take a cab? Thank you in advance for your help.

Piccadilly Line from LHR to Green Park; Victoria Line from Green Park to Euston.

Trains to Glasgow come out of Euston
You could Piccadilly line to Green Park and Victoria line to Euston, or Elizabeth line to Tottenham Court Road, Northern line to Euston. Either would be quicker and cheaper than a taxi.
