Appreciate recommendations for lodging in Innverness town center - 3-star or higher. Staying end of August. Also looking for lodging recommendations in Mallaig. Traveling by train.

Glen Mhor, Ness Bank (East bank)
Premier Inn, Nessbank (West bank)
Premier Inn West - about a one mile walk from the river
Mallaig: West Highland Hotel (Very short walk from the railway station)

I've stayed at the Premier Inn Inverness Centre River Ness twice. Across the river from the center of town. Just a few minute walk via the pedestrian bridge.
Very nice. I'd stay there again.

Sorry to tag on here, but also looking for hotel recommendations in Inverness, early Sept. I had wanted to stay at Kingsmill Hotel since our tour group has a meeting there but they are full for our dates. Does anyone know of a nice/similar quality hotel within walking distance ( waling with rolling duffles, that is!)? Thank you and sorry to Fred for tagging onto your post.
