Just a note that the initial phase of the Lockerbie Memorial Church Museum is now open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
While the former Dryfesdale Parish Church is renovated, to become the new permanent home from late 2028 or thereabouts the temporary exhibition is in an old Parish Building in the Churchyard.
This is in addition to the sites of remembrance at Tundergarth and the Cemetery, and it is good to have a specific place of Remembrance in the town centre, given the limited opening hours of the Town Hall.
I have been there today to pay my respects.
It is an easy stop if driving north on the M74, also there is an hourly TPE train service, with the odd extra on both Avanti and Lumo.
