Ok so I have to pick one- which one is more scenic and better for photos:
Loch Leven and Lohmond Hills Regional Park OR The Hermitage Tay/Forest Park area?

i hope that you get some replies from people who have been to both places. I've spent time the Dunkeld area. The walks are very good and varied in level. The hills give you a bit of the highland feel. The bridge and the Tay are great to photograph. The town of Dunkeld has a cathedral and picturesque town square.
Loch Leven is most known for being a Mary Queen of Scotts location. Mary was imprisoned there for close to a year. It is surely a place I'd like to visit some day. Lomond Hills Regional Park looks interesting. I've been to Falkland Palace which is near by and interesting--there is Renaissance tennis court!
Are you looking at a one day trip from Edinburgh? You can do Dunkeld by train, but probably would need car or bus for Loch Leven.
You might also look at Aberfeldy. You can drive out Glen Lyon. There is a great bridge. You do the Birk's of Aberfeldy [walk]. 7. You can visit Loch Tay and the Crannog Centre.
