We are going to golf vacation to St. Andrews on May 5 and will play four rounds within six days. On one of our off days, we plan to take the train from Leuchars to Edinburgh to spend a day there. I had planned to drive to the train station in Leuchars and leave the car there, but I noticed that the bus runs between St. Andrews and Leuchars on a regular basis and was wondering if it might be easier to catch the bus and drive. The only thing we will be carrying is a day bag. The bus station is two minutes from our hotel in SA. Has anyone out there taken the bus on this route or driven to the train station? I'd appreciate knowing your experiences with this. Thank you.
