We will be traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland and getting off our ship at Leith dock in July.
Our hotel is in St Andrew Square and my husband walks slowly with a cane.
What is our easiest way to get to our hotel at 8:00 am on a Sunday? Would we
reserve a ride or get a taxi? I know that Edinburgh is hilly so we hope to use a taxi for
going to sites.

If you are actually docking at Leith then it is a fairly small ship as the larger ships have to anchor in the Firth of Forth
The tram stops just round the corner (as you are docking very close to the Royal Yacht Brittania), or there will be plenty of taxis there if a ship is docking. Even at that time on a Sunday there is a very frequent public bus service to to St Andrews Square.
It's about two miles so the taxi should be £10 or a bit less.
