Laundry?

Starting a tour of 10 day Scotland 7/6/15 and I would like to know if there is a place during the tour to do laundry.

Your best source for this info is to call the Rick Steves office and ask them. When I took the Berlin, Prague and Vienna Tour, we did have a time when we could do some laundry. I found that the office was very helpful before my trip.

Just ask the Guide during the tour. He / she will be able to provide good information on the nearest laundry facilities.

if you are visiting Edinburgh let me know where you are staying and I can try and find somewhere near where you are staying.

It was our guide that told us about the time to do laundry. He said up front that there would be a time and place to do it at Český Krumlov. So, I really think that you can find this out in advance by calling the Rick Steves' office prior to your trip. What they are likely to say is, "When you're at XYZ place, doing laundry will be an option here. Edinburgh is at the very beginning and the end of the Rick Steves Scotland tour, so I suspect that the are looking for something in the middle.

For a ten-day trip, I can't see why you would want to do laundry. It's easy enough to pack enough tops and bottoms and to wash out underwear in the sink, if necessary.

I just got back from this tour. In Inverness, there is a Laundromat, also listed in the guidebook. We dropped our laundry off when we arrived in town, and picked it up the next day. Enjoy, it is a fantastic tour!
