Hello - I am trying to get concert tickets at the Kelvingrove on August 9th and 10th but tickets are sold out. Has anyone been to the venue - can you hear the concert if you cannot get in - are there scalpers - I checked the secondary markets - practically nothing there?
I would hold out ,often.tickets turn up in the days near to gigs in my experience.
Might be worth emailing Kelvingrove and see if they have a waiting list you can join.
Twickets had plenty for the recent Shania Twain gigs both in Stirling and Glasgow.
Think I found a scalper, who wants double face value.I hate scalpers/ Touts in the UK.
Ticketmaster has at least two now.
£63 inc all fees, the other a bit cheaper, the Thursday gig
That's at 8.50 pm. UK
I have asked a friend up in Glasgow if she's been to any gigs there and can you hear outside
Bandsintown might be worth signing up too.
You probably wouldn't hear much from outside. Not a good sound anyway. The Bandstand is an amphitheatre type affair and they'll probably being trying to reduce the spill. If it's a nice evening I'm sure there will be a few out in the park with a "cairry oot". You're effectively behind the stage in the main part of Kelvingrove Park. It faces Kelvin Way, if you want to look that up. It will be well fenced off all summer so I don't think you'll see anything.
Wonder if they got in
Sort of related, but my friends and I saw what we think was UFO activity walking home from the bandstand about 30 years ago. Stopping and starting, zig-zagging lights in the sky. That sort of thing. No intoxicants involved!
Wonder if they got in
I don’t think you are likely to know. 6 posts with questions and no responses or acknowledgments.
