Jacobite train in fort william

Another Jacobite query.

We currently do not know if it is running this year, irrespective of tickets being on sale.

There is currently a court order prohibiting operation due to door safety issues. If they don't solve the problem, no trains will run.

A few tickets are sold on the day at the train, not the ticket office.

But expect to be on the normal diesel train instead, over exactly the same tracks.

Where do I find information about the diesel?

Does a roadway go alongside the rail line that allows views of the famous bridge?

Yes

There is a car park close to the viaduct.
It gets very congested when/if the steam train runs. There is a path from the car park to the Viaduct.
