The railway to the Kyle of Lochalsh will be closed for major engineering works from 20 October to 9 November.
Replacement buses will run from Inverness to Kyle of Lochlash in both directions, calling at all stations between Inverness and Stromeferry, then fast to Kyle of Lochalsh.
Minibuses will run for local stations between Stromeferry and Kyle calling at Duncraig, Plockton and Duirinish, due to the nature of the roads- change between minibus and big bus at Stromeferry.
Check carefully for stopping points as in some cases this will NOT be at the actual railway station, but the closest possible stopping point. Also check for amended timings.
