Inverness Palace Hotel

I've been to Inverness a few times and always stay at the Premier Inn which is one block away.

While I can't tell you about the inside of the hotel, I do notice that there are usually a bunch of tour buses parked outside. It seems to be a popular hotel with tour groups.

I haven't stayed in that hotel. It's in a reasonable location on the riverside and a short walk into the town. It's near the cathedral and opposite the castle. However, it wouldn't be my choice. I usually stay in the Marriott AC hotel, which is on the other side of the river. It's an extremely modern hotel, with excellent soundproofing and a wonderful breakfast. They also have a small car park and it's also a short walk into the town along the riverside path.
