Hello!! I have a flight arriving at Inverness airport (with a rental car pickup) around 3:00 next month. The sun sets around 7:30 so, with my drive to my bed and breakfast in Glenlivet, I was thinking of leaving Inverness around 6:00. I have three hours to have a whirlwind tour in and about Inverness. Are there any must-see sights or just head on to Glenlivet????

Check Visit Scotland and Historic Scotland online sites for good info. There are a few castles and other distilleries in the vicinity of Inverness and on your way to Glenlivet you may enjoy.

I don't know which direction Glenlivet is, but the Culloden battlefield isn't far out of town, and I managed to spend about two hours there. I don't know its closing time, though. Otherwise the Clava Cairns are also nearby.
