Most flights take into Edinburgh but RS tour starts in Inverness. So what is best choice to get there.

Logan air flies into Inverness from several UK airports. Otherwise it's a long train ride from London or other UK airports.
We flew it from Belfast CITY airport a couple of years' ago after the RS Ireland tour.

You can get a train from London to Inverness including the Sleeper, or Edinburgh to Inverness.

Forget the comments about London - Fly into Edinburgh and then catch the train to Inverness.

Easyjet and British Airways have nonstop flights from London to Inverness. BA from Heathrow and Easyjet from Gatwick.
The times vary depending on the days of the week.
I flew it with Easyjet a few years ago.
