Ibis to choose in Edinburgh

Hello friends; next October (finishing) I'll visit Edinburgh with some friends. We are right know a party of 6 but most probably we'll be 8 or 10.
Looking for a hotel I found the Ibis at Hunter Square (or near) and the one at South Bridge.
We are planning to take rooms with twin beds.
Opinions about either one?
In your experience, are any one a good choice? Speaking about fares and budget the South Bridge is cheaper than the other and they are very close by.
Any help or input will be appreciated.
Thanks

I can't comment on the Ibis from experience, but I would like to suggest Premeir Inn York Place. Good location with easy walking access around and located at the end of the tram line from the airport. Get off the tram and you are at the hotel!

Rooms on the higher floors in the back have an amazing view out over Edinburgh harbor. There are "twin" rooms with a double and a single bed in them. Best of all, about 1/2 the price of the Ibis.

We enjoyed our stay here.

the one on south Bridge is only a few years old built on the site of historic old buildings that were destroyed in a major fire about 15 years or so ago.as you have worked out they are very close to each other. I would go for south bridge if the price is better .
