We will be starting a RS Tour in Glasgow on June 2 and arriving in Edinburgh the day before. We would like to stay in Edinburgh close to the train station on our first day there before taking the train to Glasgow to begin our tour. Any suggestions of a hotel near the train station? The new guidebook comes out later this month.

I stayed at the Market Street Hotel last May and really liked it. I plan to stay there again next year.
It’s across the street from the train station and super convenient to both the old and new town.

I liked the Motel One, Princes Street. It was right across from Waverley Station and across the beautiful Balmoral Hotel.
