Hotel in Edinburgh for Oct 1st-2nd

The Place Hotel on York Place. Stayed there for a RS tour last year. I liked it. Very close to the last tram stop, so easy to get to from the airport. https://yorkplace-edinburgh.co.uk/
It's about a mile away from the Bonham.

If you want to explore a different part of town look at the Inverleith Hotel near the Royal Botanic Gardens. I stayed in their apartments earlier this month and I've stayed in the hotel. It is very friendly.

If you haven't done this already, I'd suggest you also email the hotel to check for vacancies and mention you are on a RS tour. I wound up doing this at an RS tour hotel in Haarlem, Netherlands and was able to get a room.

If you've tried that already, then the other suggestions sound like good options. I just got back from this tour and did not particularly care for the hotel or the location where we stayed.

Premeir Inn York Place. Tram from airport ends at the front door. Couldn't be easier! Walkable to major sites, clean, reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay there.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did email the hotel directly mentioning that we were scheduled for a stay with the RS tour immediately after my requested days and they did not have any vacancies.

We stayed at The Principal Edinburgh on George St, about a mile from your hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the location.

Try B+B Edinburgh (really a hotel) on Rothesay Place which is just down the block from your place. It's easy to get there from the airport using the tram. Let us know if you need details about the tram.
