Hiking the Fife Coastal Path

Are there any recommendations for good eating in any of the villages along the path? Nothing too fancy; I will eat most anything. I will be there soon in mid-Sept. I love to eat/drink local. Recommendations also welcome for beer/ale in the pubs as well as whiskey. Thanks!!

it is a huge area and I have walked various parts of the path at various times over several years. you will find loads of places to stop for refreshments but I really can't recommend anything particular as it is such a vast area .

Most of the places on this route will be local, not multiple chains. Look on Trip Advisor for recommendations for whichever part you are walking. Pubs, which nearly always serve food will be marked PH on your Ordnance Survey map (which I assume you will be carrying!) Some places will not serve food on Sunday evenings.

It is spelt whisky not whiskey in Scotland!

Thanks for correcting my spelling! I have a few ordnance survey maps as well as the Fife Coastal Path from Rucksack readers. Plus good hiking boots, rain gear, weather layers, compass, and a good sense of humor. I'm looking forward to the walk.
